Schön, dass du hier bist! Wir, Emely und Tjark, haben uns den Traum vom eigenen Segelboot erfüllt, eine Maxi84, relativ spontan und ohne das ganz große Geld. Das Boot müssen wir noch umtaufen auf den Namen Meera. Wir nehmen dich mit auf unsere Reise von blutigen Anfängern zu hoffentlich passablen Seglern. Bevor wir uns in die Wellen stürzen können, liegt noch ein Berg an Arbeit vor uns. Umbauten, Änderungen und vor allem der Sportbootführerschein müssen erledigt werden. Außerdem müssen wir noch lernen richtig zu segeln. Du kannst dich also schon auf die nächsten Videos freuen! It’s not the yacht. It’s the people. That’s why it feels like home. 🤍⚓️ I’ve watched it happen trip after trip. At first, it’s just a yacht. Clean. Neutral. Quiet. Then people arrive. Shoes kicked off. Bags dropped. Someone makes tea. Someone laughs too loud. Kids leave wet towels. Someone forgets a book on the table. Music starts playing. And slowly, the yacht changes. It fills with conversations, shared meals, silly moments, deep talks at sunset. People cooking together. Dancing a little. Sitting close when the sea gets quiet at night. Sometimes it’s a bit messy. Sometimes loud. Sometimes emotional. But that’s exactly when it stops feeling like a yacht…and starts feeling like home.
