Hand feeding Rick Wallabies 🥕🍎 • • • One if the biggest highlights of Magnetic Island was getting to hand feed Rock Wallabies. There's SO many Wallabies on Arcadia Point living in and around the giant boulders. They are super curious and friendly and come right up to you to take food right out of your hand. There are signs around for appropriate food to feed the Wallabies and what foods not to feed these awesome animals. Charlie had such a great time feeding all the Wallabies and giving them carrots and apples. Is a 30 mile round trip too far in a dinghy? Not if you're running a Highfield Sport 420! We LOVE this inflatable! It is fast (40 mph), light (can be towed behind a car) and extremely capable. When we hit the first 3-foot boat wake in it at 15 mph, the bow went up and we braced ourselves for a big crash landing, but it never came. Instead the little 420 landed softly, as though we landed on down pillows. I looked at my wife and she at me... both of us smiling and agreeing this was an awesome purchase!
