At Southern Wind, we don’t just build yachts : we design experiences. Our Rendezvous is crafted to be inclusive and enjoyable, offering each owner the sailing format that best suits their vision, style, and spirit of adventure. Performance, Corinthian, and Rendezvous are the three divisions our owners can choose from at the upcoming SW Rendezvous and Trophy, held in Porto Cervo during the Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta, hosted by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda (YCCS). Today we introduce: THE CORINTHIAN DIVISION. For owners who appreciate a more relaxed approach to racing. This division simplifies race prep, with fewer professionals on board, encouraging owners, friends, and family to take an active role – especially at the helm – and enjoy the friendly, “soft” racing atmosphere.

"Southern Cross" is a Maxi 88 cutter-rigged yacht, designed by the renowned Sparkman & Stephens - a true transoceanic cruising vessel. Owned and privately used since 2004 with no charter history. She’s in excellent condition, thanks to ongoing, well-documented maintenance and refit work since 2017, with additional older refit records available. One of the best-maintained Maxi 88s in the Mediterranean, she comes with a maintenance plan extending through 2030. Southern Cross comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests in 4 cabins, along with 5 crew members in 4 additional cabins.
