Just minutes into our journey, the first moored sailboat with people on it was a fellow Mark Twain Lake sailor I had met when we first started sailing Galactica. Fortunately, Matt recognized Galactica and called my name. He works at a boatyard on the Calumet and invited me to grab a dock space with electricity!!! It was perfect for us. Thank you to the SO's of Erik Andreaa and Capt Glenn Shephard, as well as Malvina for getting this amazing footage for us! When we were invited to race on a Volvo Ocean 70 for the Halicarnassus Cup in Turkiye, we knew we would be in for a day of adventure. What we did not expect was for the spinnaker to blow on us as we were cruising downwind at 15 knots! It's a good thing our crew jumped into action right away, and we were all able to work together ro get it under control.
