So many are talking to us about how to become eco-friendly sailors. In this video Mahina gives you a great place to start and some other small tips. =========================== TRANSCRIPT Now this is a question for all of the sailors out there all of the charterers out there who want to be eco-friendly but want to know where do we start. My answer is, cleaning products! Sometimes these are provided by charter companies sometimes they're not. And it's a great way to take control and start being eco-friendly through the cleaning products that you're buying. I really like NatureSafe Marine. They're made here in Croatia by actually a friend of ours. They provide products like dishwashing soap, all-purpose spray, even hand soap. Because of course the runoff of all of those goes straight into the sea. Nach dem Dichtringe-Wechsel am Propellerschaft stand ich vor der letzten Hürde - 9 Liter Öl wieder ins C-Drive zu bekommen. Das Ausdehnungsgefäß hängt so absurd eng unter der Decke, dass kein Kanister direkt rankommt. Mit einem improvisierten System aus langem Schlauch und Trichter gelang mir der letzte Akt dieser technischen Odyssee. Doch endlich ist es geschafft! #Segelyacht #amel #diyproject
