At Lagoon, celebrations are taking place throughout 2024, having started in March with the presentation of the Lagoon 60 at their Bordeaux site and continued with the Lagoon Escapade. Over the long weekend of May 17, 18 and 19, no fewer than 30 owners’ rendezvous were held simultaneously all around the world (well, almost simultaneously, ignoring the time difference...). In all, 300 Lagoons and 1,500 crew celebrated this anniversary. Season 2 of Wave Rover starts off with a Huge announcement! I'm building a new boat. Wave Rover Hull #1 is a brand new 21foot pocket cruiser. Designed by an naval architect to comfortably circumnavigate the world, and yet, be built by the average person in a residential garage/shed. Design ideas that I have thought about over my many ocean voyages, both large and small, have been included in this design. The reason for the 2 different Displacement numbers: 2350lbs light boat; 2950 long range cruising( fully loaded with supplies for a 60 day voyage). I will build her over the next 18 months.
