Regardless if you call it a Chinese Gybe, Death Roll or Uncontrolled Gybe they can happen in a heart beat. One second you are cruising along and the next you are lying flat in the water with little or no ability to do anything about it. This Chinese Gybe was over in an instant, cost us the race, in reflection it taught us a lot about preventing it from happening again and how to recover better if it does happen again. Schön, dass du hier bist! Wir, Emely und Tjark, haben uns den Traum vom eigenen Segelboot erfüllt, eine Maxi84, relativ spontan und ohne das ganz große Geld. Das Boot müssen wir noch umtaufen auf den Namen Meera. Wir nehmen dich mit auf unsere Reise von blutigen Anfängern zu hoffentlich passablen Seglern. Bevor wir uns in die Wellen stürzen können, liegt noch ein Berg an Arbeit vor uns. Umbauten, Änderungen und vor allem der Sportbootführerschein müssen erledigt werden.
