On s’est mis à l’abri à Sperone cet après-midi. 30 nœuds annoncés, ça fait beaucoup pour une journée complète de voile. Les images ne rendent jamais vraiment justice au vent réel. Mais imaginez à 40, 45, 50 nœuds… personne n’a envie de vivre ça et c est pour cette raison que nous faisons attentions aux prévisions. La règle des 3x la profondeur pour la chaîne ? Une legende …. With the wind blowing out of the slip channel and the boat docked bow-to, begin by backing out of the slip into the wind. Once you’re clear of the dock, the wind will start pushing the bow downwind and help rotate the boat into the direction of the slip channel. As the boat lines up, shift into forward and drive out toward the main channel. In stronger winds, dock lines may be needed to help control the boat during the first part of the maneuver. And as always, keep a careful lookout for traffic as you enter the main channel. #sailing #sailingschool #sailboat #sailinglife
