Ti ho già raccontato la mia esperienza nella puntata n.5 dove abbiamo visto insieme come dovrebbe svolgersi la visita alla barca. Se non l’hai ancora vista ti racconto in breve. Pur non avendo molta esperienza, per l’acquisto della mia prima barca ho deciso di non avvalermi dell’aiuto di un esperto. Ne ho pagato lo scotto i mesi a venire spendendo moltissimi soldi per lavori non preventivati. Se avessi consultato un perito in fase di acquisto, sicuramente mi avrebbe allertato per tempo. Wir waren auf einem kleinen Weihnachtsmarkt in Sardinien – ganz anders, als wir es aus Deutschland kennen. Es gab keine Verkaufsstände, keine Geschenke zu kaufen. Stattdessen drei Hüpfburgen für die Kinder, Zuckerwatte und Maronen vom Feuer. Essen und Trinken war kostenlos, wer wollte, konnte etwas spenden. Alles wirkte entspannt. Kein Gedränge, kein Stress. Die Kinder hatten richtig Spaß – und wir auch. Manchmal merkt man: Für ein bisschen Glück braucht es gar nicht viel.

The Royal Ocean Racing Club Season's Points Championship is the world's largest offshore racing series. Last year, 9223 sailors raced in an astounding variety of 729 offshore certified boats. Over the past ten editions of the RORC Season’s Points Championship, the overall winning boat has always been under 47ft (14.33m) and more often than not crewed by a Corinthian team. The overall winner is decided by the IRC Rating Rule, jointly administered by the RORC and the UNCL Pôle Course du YCF. The overall trophies in nearly all the world's blue riband offshore races are awarded using the IRC rating system. During 2024, the Royal Ocean Racing Club is organising or assisting with four inshore racing events. The RORC Easter Challenge, The GBR IRC National Championships, The Vice Admiral’s Cup and the IRC European Championships.
