Day 10 of our Christmas calendar brings you to the V-cabin—our second guest cabin, located right in the bow of the boat. 🎄 This cozy space is ideal for a couple, two friends, or even two strangers who might leave as new besties!! 😉 Here’s what this cabin offers: 🧳 Personal storage: - Cabinets along the hull for your clothes, gadgets and gear! - A hanging locker - which we really want to install some shelves! 🛏️ Under-bed storage: - A drawer and small cabinet, previously we’ve stored bed linen here, but when we move back on board everything will be reconsidered. - Room for sails underneath the mattresses. ⚙️ Bow thruster compartment: Forward of the sails, tucked away for easy maintenance. Filming "Flying Manta" with @FraseryachtsSuperyachtSales was a wonderful experience, but it was also educational. It is easy to have a romantic notion of landing on a yacht with a helicopter, but the reality is that a lot of work goes in to making this happen. When we got back to the office we chatted about the experience...I think Slava got the best part of the deal, since he accompanied the pilot on the flight!

A dear friend (also sailor) Jean-Maurice was battling last stages of cancer. He's got the sailing bug. Sailed this passage before on a Class 40. I sent him this short of myself back in January 2010 when solo-sailing the North Atlantic from Las Palmas, Canary Islands to Mindelo, Cabo Verde.
