I'm constantly astonished by how much usable real estate Northern Marine packed into this 37-foot platform. You can easily access both sides of the engines, and we even have an apt hatch leading right back to the shaft alley. That means zero compromise on access! For a vessel this size, finding a better-laid-out machinery space is going to be a serious challenge. Plus, take a moment to appreciate the wiring—it’s absolutely beautiful and meticulously labeled. We live in New Zealand and Cyclone Gabrielle formed just south of the Solomon Islands and tracked down the East Coast of New Zealand in February 2023. Whilst we were very fortunate to make it through this experience unharmed, Cyclone Gabrielle caused widespread devastation in our home town of Hawke's Bay and along the East Coast of the North Island of New Zealand.
