This beautifully maintained 24’ Limestone Runabout, named Bella, offers a smooth and reliable ride with the well-known durability of Limestone boats. With a striking navy blue hull, this boat has been meticulously cared for and is ready for new adventures on the water. Ideal for commuting, boat camping, or entertaining family and friends, *Bella* is perfectly suited for the Salish Sea and beyond. The deep modified V-hull and wide 9’2″ beam provide excellent stability, even in rough waters. The current owners have cherished their time aboard, ensuring regular upkeep, and have service records available for review. Notable features include a Mercruiser 5.7L fuel-injected Vortec engine, rebuilt in 2017 with only 350 hours since overhaul, and a Bravo III outdrive. The boat also boasts a cuddy cabin with a V-berth, ideal for overnight stays, and a Garmin GPS for reliable navigation. In 2021, new canvas ($6,500) was added, and in 2022, the hull received a midnight blue wrap, which gives the boat a refreshed and polished look. Moorage is available in West Vancouver, offering an ideal spot for easy access to the water.

When parrotfish sleep at night, they often secrete a mucus "sleeping bag" around themselves for protection from predators. The bags also have antibiotic properties that are beneficial for the fish. There are over 30 species of parrotfish on the Great Barrier Reef and you are usually guaranteed to see these magnificently coloured creatures swimming over the corals. They all share a few common traits, the most obvious being their teeth. Parrotfish evolved from the carnivorous wrasse family, but through the course of time, their teeth have moved forward on the jawbone and reduced in size. Eventually, the teeth fused together creating a very useful tool for scratching algae off the surface of the coral. Filmed at Norman Reef recently, check out this video clip of a parrotfish tucked away for the night while the coral spawns. Vision courtesy of Satoshi Kagimoto, Indepth Video.
