The number one item on our checklist to ensure all divers onboard La Galigo have a safe and enjoyable diving experience, is to distribute our #divebuddies evenly into groups with a good diver to #DiveGuide ratio. We run groups of either 4 or 5 divers per guide to give you the best experience possible. This means we dive in three groups where each group has the same skills and experience, accompanied by our expert dive guides. So whatever the scenario we are plunging into, each team member can always find their group. As in the video above, our friend seemed to have a problem with her air tank being strapped in a little loose, but our ever watchful dive guide managed to help her with ease so she could quickly carry on the adventure. My nervous laugh about shooting the gap is classic! Jim and I have very much learned to sail through trial and error, in fact neither of us had ever been on a sailboat prior to Chuffed. Toni and I had the opportunity to check out the first Seawind 1370 in the United States. We did not think twice and headed up to Sail Away Catamarans to enjoy a demonstration sail on Damsel Fly. The 1370 is only 4 feet longer than the 1260, but it is a very different boat. There were things we liked and things we did not, so like every other boat known to mankind, it comes down to compromises. Like all Seawinds, she sailed very nicely in the low winds.
