Less than 100 days from now, I’ll be on the start line of the Golden Globe Race. And the truth is, I don’t know if anyone ever feels completely ready for something like that. I still have doubts. I still have a very long to-do list. I still wake up some days wondering if I’ve lost my mind. But over the last few years, I’ve learned something important: Confidence doesn’t come from knowing you’ll succeed. It comes from knowing you’ll find a way forward, no matter what happens. Every mile I’ve sailed. Every mistake I’ve made. Every crossing, repair, setback, and challenge. They’ve all been preparing me for this moment. So what makes me think I can sail solo around the world? Not one big thing. Thousands of small things. And in less than 100 days, we’ll find out if they were enough. 🌊 ⚓ Life on the Showgirl is my journey toward one of the toughest solo sailing races on the planet: the Golden Globe Race — sailed solo, non-stop, and without modern technology. Follow along as I learn, prepare, and chase a dream that feels bigger than me. ------------------------------------------ New videos EVERY 7th of the month ------------------------------------------ EXCLUSIVE CONTENT!!: https://www.patreon.com/classicmara ------------------------------------------ Follow Mara: https://www.instagram.com/classicmara_/ __________________________ Support me: PayPal: https://www.paypal.me/helgamarielk Vipps: 39088 - Classic Mara Venmo: https://account.venmo.com/u/griedy1 GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/173a9a5e6 Buy Me a Coffe: https://buymeacoffee.com/classicmara __________________________ Affiliate links: Dakota Lithium Batteries: https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=79634&awinaffid=2732466&ued=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.dakotalithium.com Orca Navigation System: https://getorca.com/?via=classicmara PitViper: https://www.pitviper.com/discount/CLASSICMARA?redirect=%2F&utm_campaign=money%2Bcounters&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_source=upfluence
Five boats packed tight at the start line — one loses wind and drifts sideways, bumping into another! Real GoPro-style footage captures the tension, teamwork, and chaos of competitive yacht racing. #CrowdedStartLine #SailingShorts #YachtRacing #BoatRace #SeaAdventure #SailingLife #OceanAdrenaline #LoveSailing
