En esta ocasión hemos ido a inspeccionar una jarcia firme a un velero Bavaria 42 en el puerto Azimut Norte, en San Adrián de Cobres. La revisión de obenques estays y backstays en imprescindible. Los fabricantes aconsejan su cambio a los diez años. Si observas cualquier óxido en los cables y sobre todo en los terminales, debes sustituirlo en seguida, ya que es muy probable que estos rompan con el consiguiente desarbolado del palo. Revisa muy a menudo tu jarcia. Así mismo, es muy importante llevar bien la tensión de la jarcia. Una jarcia demasiado tensa o demasiado floja puede desembocar también en una rotura de la jarcia con la posterior rotura del mástil
