Salona 45 raced by the Irish Defence Force in the Beaufort Cup beating up the shore to stay out of the tide shortly after the start of the Harbour Race of Cork Week 2024. With over 100 boats on the start line everyone was fighting for air shortly after the start, with the tide coming in all day it paid to get right early to find both clear air and some relief from the stronger tide out in the main channel. We're doing some boat projects and editing in Freeport. With the strong Northern wind and having to get our 5 Day Covid test this was the perfect place to be. But now free to Roam around the Bahamas we are just waiting on the weather to let us head to the Abacos. Hopefully tomorrow will be the day.
