We began our journey to sail north in our little sailboat and learned why they call it BASHING. We are going against the current and wind the entire time. But it it amazing! This is Day 1. We don't know how long it will take to go from Los Angeles to San Francisco.

Segelboot statt Wohnung.

Let’s dance to warm up 😉 Pierre shows his moves on the banks of the Qu'Appelle River in Saskatchewan. The Qu’Appelle River crisscrosses southern Saskatchewan. It takes it source at the Qu'Appelle Dam on Lake Diefenbaker and flows into the Assiniboine River in Manitoba. It is very curvy. To give you an idea of conversion, 50 km of river was often only the equivalent of 30 km as the crow flies. Although this river is bordered mainly cattle farms, there is a great diversity of wildlife and birds. In addition, the Qu'Appelle River is part of the Great Trail, the Trans Canada Trail for a total distance of 166.73 km from Lumsden to Katepwa Beach. #ClipperCanoes #Hilleberg #ORTLIEB #HappyYak #Wildravenadventure #JasminetheBearDog #canoelife #canoe #adventure #NoramOdyssey #4yearscanoeadventure #Canada #exploresaskatchewan #explorecanada #canada #happiness

►Kinetic Catamarans - A shipyard where carbon is king! ►Kinetic Catamarans was founded in 2018 by two boaters with equal passion for sailing and the marine industry, Bob Hayward, a property developer, and Leon Scheepers, a South African boat builder. In fact, Kinetic is an American company with its shipyard based in Knysna, South Africa. The aim was to build high-end cruising catamarans in carbon, following in the wake of the iconic Gunboat, yet to remain accessible in terms of sailing expertise required. The first model they launched was the Kinetic 62 (presented at Annapolis in 2019), followed by the 54 two years later. Both catamarans are designed by Simonis Voogd Design BV.
