One of our NSSC Sailability members, Jazz Turner, crossing the finish line at the end of her epic Project FEAR ("face everything and rise") journey. Jazz is terminally ill with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), and is a full-time wheelchair user. After 28 days sailing around the UK and Ireland single-handed, non-stop and unassisted, Jazz arrived back at Brighton Marina around 13:30 on Monday 30th June 2025. Jazz is raising money for the Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club (NSSC) Sailability fund. En attendant d’être libérés professionnellement, nous préparons notre futur départ pour embarquer sur Lady’L un catamaran Excess 11 et sillonner les mers, voir d’autres pays et découvrir d’autres cultures. Życie w marinie zdecydowanie różni się od życia na kotwicy. Głównym powodem pobytu w porcie jest najczęściej konserwacja lub naprawa jachtu tak jak w naszym przypadku 😩 sąsiad dziś też ma problem z silnikiem i jest holowany pod dźwig.
