No, we don’t walk that fast…some scenes have been sped up. Covering song is ‘Just Walk’ by Colton Walls on Epidemic Sounds which we thought was fitting for this adventure. If you haven’t seen our epic half marathon walk to eat a marmite sandwich, follow this link to it on YouTube. Keep an eye out on Sunday where we show you another awesome spot to eat a marmite sandwich in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand. We hope you enjoy it! As always, thanks for watching. Sincere thanks to Charlotte Rockstar Jones for composing and recording Te Tāiko's theme song. Please remember to subscribe, like, comment - it helps us out! After spending 3 years sailing within New Zealand & preparing for offshore sailing, we sailed our 40 ft sailboat Te Tāiko from New Zealand to Fiji & enjoyed the beauty and tranquility Fiji has to offer. We've now said goodbye to Fiji and have completed our first ocean passage (bluewater crossing) as a couple (only the two of us aboard). We have continued to sail west to our next destination, the beautiful country of Vanuatu. If you’d like to join our journey, please support our channel by clicking the subscribe button and leaving us a comment. A big thank you to you for watching and a massive thank you to our Patreons for your support and helping make this possible. In December 2021 we moved aboard our sailboat Te Tāiko, a Chico 40. Tāiko is our floating home. She gives us the freedom to go anywhere the wind and weather allows. We release a new video every Sunday. #boatlife #boat #travelvlog #digitalnomad #lifestyle #sailing #travel #sailinglife

Two new things today. First, a replacement for our much abused Makita drill which has given up. The grip on the chuck for changing drills was already worn to the point of being very hard to tighten or release, the motor has been struggling for a while too. So new, more powerful one with harder wearing metal parts. Plus the cutest little kettle for our Refleks stove. Now we don't need to use electricity (if we have the diesel stove on) to make tea/coffere or do the washing up :-) We are now living aboard our Rival 38 Centre Cockpit full-time while finishing a refit so we can launch ASAP. We have a frequently updated blog at https://sustainablesailing.net with membership options and a weekly newsletter at £2 per month for Early Bird Supporters. Our free Sustainable Sailing book is at: https://sustainablesailing.codeberg.page/ Or visit our shop at https://sustainablesailing.teemill.com/ for great hoodies, t-shirts and bags. When we bought Vida in August 2019 she was in a very tired and damp condition with all original equipment and fittings (much of it not working). We have removed all the gas, diesel and paraffin equipment, and are installing all-electric (motor, cooking etc).
