We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard). A ship that surveys marine plastic pollution while traveling around the world without using any fossil fuel is anchored at Osaka North Port. The moored "Race for Water" is a ship that has been sailing around the world since 2017, and uses fossil fuels because it uses electric power made from solar cells and hydrogen energy made from seawater. I don't use it. "After producing fresh water from seawater with this machine, it is converted into hydrogen here. This is the first time that this mechanism has been used on a ship in the world," said Saki Kobayashi.
