This is definitely the Calm Before the Storm! We made our way to Marsh Harbour early this morning to hopefully find a good anchorage in anticipation of the weekend's big blow. Forecasted to be in upwards of 60kn, it's at least 20kn more than we've experienced. That's a LOT OF WIND! Suffice it to say, Marsh Harbour wasn't vacant. We were able to find, what we hope to be, a nice hole between some sailboats. To our aft are the folks from Sailing Zephyr...very cool. Anyways, we're confident in our ground tackle but you always have to worry about other boats dragging. Our anchor is a Spade 160 and is oversized for our boat...that said, if there's an abrupt wind shift of 180º, all anchors will have to reset themselves. This is definitely the Calm Before the Storm

They have sailed over 30,000 nautical miles and visited 16 countries so far. Just another 8000 miles to go... We interviewed Renee and Lynette aboard their 1968 Moody Halberdier sailboat on the hard in Bobby's boat yard in Sint Maarten in February 2012...
