Day 5 of our Christmas calendar takes us to the aft headâour little onboard bathroom that does it all! đ Hereâs how it works: đ§ Running water thanks to our water pump, so you can brush your teeth or take a shower just like at home. đȘ„đż â” Sit-down shower: A handy feature when the boat is moving, making it much easier (and safer) to shower under way. The biggest difference? The toilet! We use a manual pump toilet, which requires a bit of technique (and sometimes a quick tutorial for guests). đ Some boats have electric toilets, but we like the simplicity and reliability of our manual setup. It may be compact, but this space is fully equipped for life onboard! Whatâs your biggest question about boat bathrooms? Let us know in the comments! đŹ đ„ See you tomorrow as we continue our boat tour! đ” Music by Sergio Prosvirini from Pixabay #YouTubeShorts #Explore #TravelVlog #Vloggers #DailyLife #ChristmasCalendar #Vlogmas #ChristmasOnBoard #Beneteau44cc #Sailing #Liveaboard #LifeAtSea
Offshore cruising in a sudden popâup thunderstorm is anything but predictableâone moment the sea rolls steady, the next a wall of wind barrels down, whipping the rigging and heeling the boat hard over as spray leaps across the deck. Rain lashes sideways, stinging skin and soaking everything in seconds, until I canât tell whatâs seawater and whatâs sky. The storm seems to come from nowhere, fierce and messy, leaving me braced against the wheel, drenched and blinking through the chaos, riding it out until the burst of fury suddenly eases as quickly as it arrived.
