Whether you were looking at the front or the back of the fleet, the Indian Ocean showed its teeth this week. A series of major low pressure systems were piling on the pressure for all, both mentally and physically. From damaged gear to broken boats, this was a week where the conditions were intimidating as the strong winds and wild sea state took their toll. But this is still a race and key tactical decisions needed to be made. And despite the intimidating conditions, the front runners made some punchy , high risk calls.
