Sunsail and Wavejet Propulsion recently set out to show the world that incredible surf does exist in the Bahamas, who knew it was all only a puddle jump away. The group assembled with every tool and toy they could fit on the Sunsail 444 and set to the task of finding surf good enough to replace the 24 hour flights with while fishing, snorkeling, diving and finding untouched pristine reefs. Passengers onboard our Silversonic dive and snorkel vessel and Pro Dive Cairns Liveaboard vessel had rare whale shark encounters within days of each other at Turtle Bay on the Agincourt reefs (Silversonic) and at Flynn Reef off Cairns (Pro Dive Cairns). The spectacular whale shark sighting encountered by Silversonic's passengers and crew measured around 6m in length and was travelling slowly in a north west direction.
