The Cetina, which runs from the hinterland through the mountains and into the coastal town of Omis, housed the Med's most famous band of pirates. Discovery Dive: If you want to have your first scuba diving experience then this Discovery Dive is for you -- we take care of everything. After a quick talk with the instructor & watching a short video, to ensures the main principles are understood, it's time to enter the shallow water on the nearby beach. Each instructor takes maximum two people and looks after them for the entire dive, which takes between 20 to 30 minutes. Once back on the surface, you will be transferred back to Makarska. Wreck Diving: This dive is for certified divers only and is very rewarding. Dive over the torpedo boat, which lies at 26m, and see its well-preserved metal construction including anti-aircraft guns and torpedoes still in their tubes. It is a haven for marine life - a man-made reef with sponges, algae and fish. Wait to turn the handle until the unit is inside the engine and oil has been filled. The thin sheets of metal are fragile when they are not in oil. Good to clean inside the engine below the oil strainer. I had a lot of dirt there, didn't reached it when I rebuilt the engine

The priority for maintaining optimal VMG downwind in waves is to continue surfing. When required to gybe, whether due to your orientation to the course, tactics or wind change - maintaining speed on a wave is critical. Surfing keeps you moving down the course while completing the maneuver. The trick is to initiate surfing by doing a roundup. This allows you to bring extra sheet tension in while accelerating which allows you to gybe on a much deeper angle - hence maintaining connection on the wave. In this video, we've presented some basic steps to take to complete the surfing gybe. The concepts of proper body positioning, sheeting and steering can only be discovered through deliberate practice with coaching.
