This video was taken by Mike Scott and shows my 2day build 14ft Zest dinghy sailing for the first time. Built during the 2 day Edensaw Boatbuilding Challenge at the Port Townsend WBF. Builders were Josh Turner, Bob Lange while Dan Carter and I took videos and got in the way. Only a few miles from the marina we saw this storm approaching. Nothing you can do but let it pass. We furled in the genoa and just motored until it passed. We didn't get any video of the actual storm by a friend that was racing at the time had cameras rolling. So you can see what we went through. No waves to speak of so I just turned my back to it and waited it out.
