Kerumba – 50ft High-Performance Lifting Keel Racer Cruiser. https://www.yoti.com.au/listing/ker-50-kerumba Kerumba was designed by acclaimed naval architect Jason Ker, selected following a competitive design review, and built by world-class composite specialists McConaghy Boats. Delivered with carbon mast, boom and rigging package, she reflects serious offshore pedigree combined with meticulous build quality. Conceived for a proposed Around Australia campaign, she was engineered to deliver offshore speed while maintaining shallow-water access ideal for East Coast cruising grounds. A hydraulically operated lifting keel provides exceptional versatility, reducing draft to 2.2m for harbour access and extending to 3.0m for maximum upwind performance. Unlike many lifting-keel yachts where rudder depth compromises control, Kerumba features twin rudders to ensure balance and grip at speed, eliminating the round-up tendencies common in similar designs. Her sail plan is based on the proven TP52 platform, offering performance credibility and practical cost efficiency through access to quality second-hand inventory. A pin-head mainsail and single backstay were chosen for simplicity and ease of handling while retaining competitive sail area. A substantial bowsprit supports powerful asymmetric and Code sails, delivering impressive downwind performance. Epoxy glass construction was selected over full carbon to provide a quieter, more forgiving hull with favourable IRC implications — resulting in a yacht that is both competitive and comfortable. Deck systems remain predominantly manual to preserve sailing engagement, complemented by electric assistance for the main halyard. The Harken hydraulic system operates the lifting keel and also powers backstay, vang and outhaul controls at push-button convenience. Sails are supplied by North Sails, combining quality TP52 inventory with purpose-built headsails, and including a brand-new Code 0 delivered in January 2026 and yet to be used. Below deck, Kerumba offers a highly functional and comfortable three-cabin, two-head layout featuring a linear galley, large L-shaped saloon settee, dedicated navigation table and air conditioning — welcome comfort after racing or extended passages. Power management is modern and efficient, featuring a 24V Mastervolt lithium house bank paired with a 1200W MassCombi inverter/charger providing 240V capability and shore power integration, supported by dedicated engine battery charging and 24/12V conversion. Following a full professional repaint of hull and deck and rig rebuild in 2024, Kerumba is very well presented, 50-footer offering competitive IRC performance, shallow-draft capability and genuine cruising comfort — a serious yacht for sailors who value both speed and substance. ‘G Whizz’ is a 2007 Elan 340 listed exclusively for sale with YOTI on Sydney Harbour. https://www.yoti.com.au/listing/elan-340-g-whizz This is a mid-sized performance cruiser designed by Rob Humphries. ‘G Whizz’ offers a fun, responsive, and fast club racer with the comforts of a cruising yacht. Her second and long-term owners have successfully raced her on Sydney Harbour. The sail wardrobe is impressive and largely by Doyle with furling and non-furling headsails, black Kevlar main, and both symmetrical and asymmetrical kites. There is an easy-to-handle extendable bow sprit. The Dyform rigging was fully replaced in 2023 by Diverse Rigging including all halyards, mast electrics and a new Selden furler. Down below, this is very much a comfortable cruise interior with a practical two cabin layout, proper galley and nav station, large folding saloon table, and good-sized head / shower with practical wet hanger. There is very little evidence below that G whizz has been a successful long-term racer as the cabinetry, floor, and upholstery present in excellent condition. Many of the surfaces and the table have been covered for protection. There is a solid and well-organized safety inventory plus extensive systems and boat manuals. The yacht has lived under a boom tent for most of her life when at rest plus there is an additional lunch awning with battens. ‘G Whizz’ has just been anti-fouled November 2025 and enjoyed a full hull soda blast in 2022. This is an incredibly versatile option for those seeking something that is exhilarating to sail while also offering cruising comforts. Built by Sydney Yachts in 2006, ‘Impetuous Too’ is a Sydney 36CR now listed exclusively for sale with YOTI, Sydney. https://www.yoti.com.au/listing/sydney-36cr-impetuous-too This Murray Burns and Dovell design is highly regarded as one of the best models to come out of the Sydney Yachts factory. Successfully raced from the RSYS in Sydney, Impetuous Too was specified as a new boat and campaigned by a well-known Sydney yachtsman. As she moved from an IRC yacht to a more relaxed twilight cruiser/racer, several clever adaptations were added from 2021 onwards. Her starboard mainsheet winch was electrified and can be used for mainsheet control or as a maneuvering winch for halyards. She was fitted with Harken furler and a battened Norths Norlam furler was fitted. A CHPS Aramid Mainsail was fitted in 2023 and a Lazyjack bag was also added to the inventory. She has an IRC carbon spinnaker pole, a carbon bow prodder, and an aluminium whisker pole, allowing her to run both symmetrical and an asymmetrical setup. Specified new with a Yanmar diesel and 2-blade Gori prop serviced, she is a fabulous crossover opportunity with the ability to cruise comfortably or race competitively in an IRC fleet. Please call YOTI Sydney for further information. +61 (02) 9960 6222 info@yoti.com.au Disclaimer: All information contained herein has been provided by the Vendor, or sources YOTI consider reliable.
