Take a look around the cabins and guest areas of Wunderpus
A snapshot of our DRP/Wunderpus collaborative trip in Komodo. These trips not only offer amazing diving in every corner of Komodo but also focus on environmental issues facing the area and our blue planet in general.
A glimpse at what a trip on Wunderpus looks like as we explore Komodo above and below the surface.

Our budget liveaboard Mimic is incredibly popular and receives rave reviews. But everybody asks about the sleeping arrangements....so here is a video of how the upper deck daytime relaxing area becomes the sleeping area for the night.
This great video of a Painted Frogfish was shot at Wainilu dive site in Komodo. The Frogfish is tiny !!!
Juvenile Harlequin Sweetlips Taken in Komodo National Park, Indonesia
We were surrounded by schools of Dolphins at a mooring for the night near to Loh Liang, Komodo Indonesia
We saw these 2 Eagle Rays near the end of a dive in The Cauldron dive site North Komodo, Indonesia.
Great video of a Nudibranch at Wainilu dive site near Rinca Island, Komodo National Park, Indonesia. www.wunderpusliveaboard.com
Castle Rock is a submerged seamount divesite in northern Komodo, usually dived in strong current, negative entry and known for having plenty of shark action….Whitetips, Blacktips and even Grey Reef sharks can be seen here along with schools of Trevally, Fusiliers and Surgeonfish.
Mawan is a favourite dive site in the central area of Komodo, it has great coral, a good mix of macro and larger creatures and is quite a shallow easy dive. But the main attraction is of course the Manta !! We regularly see multiple Manta here, unto 20 at times mostly gathered around a cleaning station at just 5 metres depth !! Great place to get amazing videos and photos of these amazing creatures !!
Wunderland is our own private playground !! Nobody else seems to dive this beautiful site which we discovered last season. It has great coral, macro, pelagics and even Dugong at times !! Something for everybody and always great not to have other divers bubbles ruining those perfect pictures.
Seeing a big school of Barracuda up close is an amazing experience but a little unnerving as well…..we regularly see this school of Yellowtail Barracuda at Wunderland, along with Whitetip Reefsharks, Giant Trevally, Wahoo and plenty of great Macro. Wunderland is a dive site we discovered last season which we have managed to keep secret so we usually dive here alone !!
Manta Point in central Komodo is a drift dive with a flat rubble bottom and usually great Manta sightings…..sometimes upto 50 on one dive !! The Manta come here to feed, clean and mate mostly from September through to April but sometimes year round. We often also see Marble Rays, Turtles, Reef Sharks and Blue Spotted Stingrays here as we drift along in the current.
