First sail after falling off my boat two winters ago! Feels great but diesel is not liking it right now. Sun shining with about 6 to 8 kts wind makes a nice comfortable sail to get back into it and pr
This boat was built for the 67 expo. It was built in lunnenurg NS and now is going to be crushed. Sad ending for this classic sailboat.
Finished framing everything the way i want it! Gotta start working on doors and preping for paint in the forward berth and head. Not sure how I am going to make the door for the bathroom yet. Thinking about making curved folding door. So far other than epoxy and hardner the rebuild has only cost my time.?
I got the storage done but still needs the cracks filled and painted. Hopefully i can find doors somewhere that will fit already made ?.
Got all the plumbing underbeath the bed finished so i have presurized water again. Used a shelf i had to take out and a piece of the wall to make a shelf at the head of the bed. So far this project has cost me nothing but time. Reusing everything I can.
Took a few days off to recover from july 1st. Bed is almost framed and next I will hook the water back up.
I got the water tank installed below the plywood and 2/3 finished cutting out the shape of the bed. Gotta finish up front first before i can go further. The song in the background is colter wall. check him out.
First run down the river after I put the electric motor in. It's nice when you can hear the birds over the motor.

After falling off my boat in feb 2024 while living on the hard I hurt myself really bad and have to wait till next year to go back in the water. So I am turning my liveaboard sailtboat into a more comfortable tiny home. ? The boat is completly electric now and hopefully before it is back in the water I can afford lithium batteries and then it will be completly off grid and self charging. It's self charging now. My goal is to be back in the water by may 1st 2025 to go through the weland canal on my way back to nova scotia via the st lawerence river. My first project will be the v-berth turning it into a double bed.

Don't think that he likes his new boots! He managed to get one of the back ones half off and started chewing the front ones. Oh well try again tomorrow.
30 kt winds out on lake Erie are making it flood here. Looks around 4-5 kts upstream.
Thought i would upload a video of my motor and solar setup so far. Still a work in progress.
Couldn't ask for a better day to sail on lake erie. Wind was 10kts and sun was shining, Perfect.
Heading out to long point to anchor for the night. Wind was forcast but as you can see, they lied lol. But this sunset more than made up for it.
