We tried out the Konoko Falls & Beach Getaway on the Carnival Horizon. This excursion is located in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. We climbed up the Konoko Falls before touring the Konoko Gardens. The Wandering Mittens step foot on the beautiful island of Roatan for the first time ever. After puchasing the Relax on the Beach Package, we take a scenic chairlift ride to Mahogany Beach. Once we arrive, we show off our clam shell and some of the amenities at Mahogany Beach. The beach offers $5 all day wifi, food, massages, free chairs and delicious drinks. After swimming, we give some tips on how to have a completely free day at Mahogany Bay. After leaving the island, we show off the new and tasty food at JavaBlue Cafe. The Mardi Gras's JavaBlue Cafe offers a new feature of grab & go warm and cold food. The Bridgette and Amanda hit the boost button in the morning and ride the Bolt Roller Coaster. Bridgette keeps having fun at the arcade as her ticket count continues to grow. Amanda and Geoff are in Cozumel, Mexico in this episode! They start off their day showing the steps on how to get a taxi while in port in Cozumel. They take a quick 15 minute ride before arriving at the popular Paradise Beach. Paradise Beach is an all inclusive private resort near the Cruise terminal. Once they arrive, they are greeted by friendly staff, food and drinks. The couple goes into water mode and shows off some of the features at Paradise Beach including the floating water park that is accessible by purchasing the additional Fun Pass. They also show off the pool and other amenities before returning to the Carnival Horizon ship. Later that night, they have a show and dinner at Bonsai Teppanyaki. They end the night back in their room to get some rest before their final sea day. Geoff and Amanda get ready to head out for an adventure in the Cayman Islands. They board the water shuttle over to the island where they meet up with their excursion group. In this episode, they check something major off their bucket list-visiting Stingray City! They board the Allura Catamaran where they enjoy a scenic ride over to the sandbar. They disembark the vessel where they are greeted with many beautiful sightings of stingrays. They even kiss one! After their wonderful excursion they board the Carnival Horizon once again and enjoy Guy's Burger. Geoff tries and reviews the new Funderstruck burger. After a quick reset, they're at dinner tonight in the Main Dining Room before enjoying some time at the casino. Later that night, they bust out some dance moves on the lido deck at the Silent White Night (silent disco) party before turning in for the night. Amanda & Geoff start their morning off by trying to find out what happened to their excursion tickets. After a visit to the shore excursion desk, the two grab some coffee from Java Blu and some breakfast from Blue iguana before heading off the ship to explore Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The Mittens meet up with their guide for their excursion called: Konoko Falls Climb Beach Getaway with Lunch. The first part of their adventure begins with them climbing up Konoko Falls and exploring the gardens on property. The second part is when they explore Puerto Seco Beach Club which is about a 40 minute ride from the pier. They swim in the beautiful blue water and enjoy it lunch with fried fish, jerk chicken and rice and peas. The couple return to the ship and get ready for the night. They have a quick dinner by stopping by the Seafood Shack before heading to the Liquid Lounge. They spend the rest of the night playing Bingo, watching the Deal or No Deal game show and laughing at the iconic Love & Marriage show. After discovering the pool was out of order, they wander to the Dr. Seuss WaterWorks park to see if Amanda can muster up the courage to try the Cat and the Hat red and white waterslide. The duo continue their relaxing sea day by trying Mongolian Wok (JiJi's Kitchen's free lunch option). They look around the Lido Marketplace buffet once more before landing on some beautifully decorated Fourth of July themed desserts. The Mittens sign up for a tour at Guy's Pig & Anchor Brewhouse where they partake in a lot of learning and a lot of beer samples. Later that evening, the two checkout the IMAX and Thrill Theatre before trying two new cocktails at the Alchemy Bar. Amanda and Geoff find themselves back again in the casino (aka the Adult Arcade) before heading to dinner at Guy's Pig and Anchor and ending the night early.
