After medically retiring from career as a firefighter, I have been living my best life with my registered service dog, Wanagi. Wanagi means " Ghost or, Spirit and often referred to as the Trickster" from the Lakota Soiux language. Wanagi was gifted to me while I was helping with media for the #NODAPL Oceti Sakowin Camp. This was a historic gathering of tribes, allies and people from all walks of life standing in solidarity to halt the Dakota Access Pipeline. Wanagi was born in Camp January 1st, 2017.
