Paddling trail in Hernando County, Florida. The trip is 4.9 miles round trip including Redfish Bayou with access from the Bayport Kayak Ramp or the ramp at Linda Pedersen Park (Jenkins Creek). This is great alternative to the Weeki Wachee River which can be extremely crowded.

WeekiWachee Preserve, located in Spring Hill, is conservation land owned by the Southwest Florida Water Management District. It encompasses over 11,000 acres and provides many recreational opportunities. We went kayaking and snorkeling in Hospital Hole and saw this beautiful manatee and tons of fish
