I am back after over a year pause due to the world situation, and this is a recap of all the work done so far. I bought the boat in Berlin, sailed it down to Turkey, and have been rebuilding her. We have one month now to finish her off before we go in the water!
Hello dedicated viewers. In this episode I am finishing off some small jobs and my carpenter begins his work. We get the floor down throughout the whole boat and start getting in some walls.
Hello everyone! This episode, we are boosting along with the project really well, and we are wiring up the boat, and putting the engine back in!
I hiked into the hills with a guitar and sung to the goats. Sound of music Turkey. I hope you enjoy, more boat building next week.
Hello, in this episode we have a lot for you! I deliver a sailing boat through hostile waters, we raise a foreign flag to sneak through like pirates. We have a new character, Alp, who wants to learn how to build boats, and starts moving the project forward at lightening speeds, we do some fiberglass and finish the painting inside! This week on the boat flipping channel, I visit some pristine waterfalls, get my little boat working, and prepare to rebuild the engine bay.
This week; rust mania, painting, and starting on the engine bay components. Shout out! I said Mark Patey, but I meant his twin brother, Mike, who also builds airplanes, check him out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QY_4sT6O9U
In this episode, my deadline for the carpenter draws ever nearer, and progress seems to have morphed into the movie Groundhog Day. I do a zillion coats of epoxy primer to battle against the rust, I fire my painter, and I rescue a child. Lots of boat renovation gloom.
This week, finally finish off the sandblasting, getting epoxy primer on the steel while battling a drunk painter, denied a visa and storms ripping my tent to shreds.
This episode I am renovating the windows, and moving the boat to a new home, where the carpentry can begin. I bought a boat in Berlin and sailed her through the heart of Europe, and down to the southern most point on the Aegean in Turkey, where I am giving her a complete rebuild. This Channel is following me, Christopher Smith, putting her back together again, and sailing her back to Germany to sell, flip, her for a profit. ---------- Link to Ralf van Pelt who does great educational videos about putting tinting on glass. Thanks Ralf for you help! Worked like a charm. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CceXZUvoOuA -------- Music Credit courtesy of Catch Pritchard, many thank you's!! http://www.catchprichard.com/ listen here: https://soundcloud.com/catchprichard
Ep.2 of Project Yakamoz. Christopher bought an old boat in Berlin, and sailed it to Turkey to give it a full refit. This episode is about sandblasting rust away, and painting to prepare for rebuilding the boat.
