Goldilocks ready for the road and as we make our way to our first stop in Washington DC. Tyler and I have never been, so we are excited to explore the beautiful sites of our countries Capital during t
A change from the normal sailing videos, this episode looks at the wildlife we've seen on the trip so far. Not everything is covered because although we saw Orcas in the Moray Firth and dolphins by Lindisfarne we were not quick enough to get pictures. Thank you to Stephen and Avril for their inputs to this video.
The final part of the leg to Largs. We have mixed weather conditions and a very wet transit of the Crinan Canal which encourages us to do some baking.
Some magical moments and some less so as the weather intervenes again. This is the trip from Kinlochbervie close to Cape Wrath to Plockton near the Isle of Skye.
I completed the second corner of GB in the last video, crossed the Pentland Firth and arrived in Orkney. This video sees Full Circle on the move again after a 5 day break. My wife flies up to join me and Marion and Stephen are on board as well, all the way to Largs. However, this video is just covering the trip from Orkney to Kinlochbervie which includes the remote north coast of Scotland and the infamously named Cape Wrath (apparently 'turning point' in old Norse) and my 3rd corner.
The crossing of the Pentland Firth, one of the more challenging passages of my trip around GB.
The trip from Eyemouth to Wick with Martin as crew.
Covers the leg from Whitby to Eyemouth with Martin and Dave as crew; Mike and Craig having left on the train for home.
The next stage of my journey around GB with new crew Mike and Craig. This will take me from Lowestoft to Whitby. This stage include the first overnight sail of the trip.
The second part of the Stage 1 journey taking us from Dover on a misty morning to Lowestoft where Terry will leave me and Mike and Craig will join on the 29th April.
The start of the voyage around GB. Marked by light winds and blue skies. It can't continue!
Full Circle being launch off of Topsham Quay a week before the trip around GB commences.
Second video introducing Full Circle and outlining some of the preparations for the trip.
This is the first and introductory video for this channel where we will be recording the trip around GB on my sailing yacht Full Circle, a 1989 Moody 346.
