The final epsiode of sailing Swans for 50 years, covers the year 2024 and first half of 2025, So actually 51 years. 2024 started in late April with the delivery cruise of a Swan 55 from Mallorca to Badalona. May and June followed with three delivery sails from the yard in Jakobstad, starting with a Swan 48 to Amsterdam, then a Swan 55 to Copenhagen and a Swan 78 to Stockholm. Back in Mallorca we sailed a family cruise on the Swan 55 between Mallorca and Ibiza, followed by a VAT-run to Gibraltar and back to Palma. In September we sailed the same Swan 55 from Palma to Porto Cervo and participated in Swan Cup 2025, before returning to Palma. In November the same Swan 55 was the delivered from Palma to Badalona for repairs. 2025 started in March with the delivery of a Swan 82 from Palma to Badalona and in early May the same yacht from Port Adriano (Mallorca) to Badalona. Immediately afterwards was then the transatlantic sail on an old Swan 51, from Antigua via St Maarten, Horta and Brest to Cherbourg. A total of almost 9100 nautical miles added to logged distance on Swans - adding up to more than 202,500 nautical miles sailed on Swans during the last 51 years.

2023 started with two Transatlantics - from Gran Canaria to St Maarten and from St Maarten to Mallorca - on a Swan 651. Later, in the summer, a quick delivery of a brand new Swan 55 from Saltsjöbaden/Stockholm to Sønderborg in Denmark. In July-September, followed the delivery trip of another Swan 55 from the yard in Jakobstad to Badalona/Barcelona and later from Badalona to Palma. During autumn, there was a short day-trip on a Swan 65 off Mallorca, as well as a couple of day-trips and weekends on the Swan 55 off Mallorca. 12414 nautical miles added to the total of miles sailed on Swans.

The year 2022 starts with a new seasonal job on a Swan 112, in the Caribbean. A busy season, sailing between the islands from Antigua to the BVI, several times. After the winter season an Atlantic crossing to Cascais for maintenance and in July the delivery to Palma. Immediately after that, a delivery of a Swan 66 from Spain to Athens and then a period of time off, due to personal loss and a surgery, until late December, when we started with a Swan 651 from Cartagena to Gran Canaria. 6400 nautical miles added to the total sailed on Swans.

Year 2021, started with winter in La Spezia, and an early start of the season in mid March. Sailing the Ligurian and Tyrrhenian Seas, between Genoa and southern Sardinia, before participating in Cannes Yacht Festival boat show. Then via Badalona to Gran Canaria and sailing across the Atlantic as part of ARC 2021. The year ended with a delivery sail from St Lucia to Antigua. 7700 nautical miles added to total distance sailed on Swans

The year is 2020. Starting with an Atlantic Crossing on a Swan 66 with a Swedish film crew and 6 Swedish celebrities making Season 2 of the popular TV-series "Över Atlanten". These are Covid-times, so next up was taking care of the same Swan 66, that was shipped to Palma from the Caribbean. After 13 days in quarantine in Finland we sailed a Swan 78 from the yard in Jakobstad to Puerto Sherry. Another 14 days in quarantine and the last months of building a Swan 98 before launch and delivery trip to the Mediterranean in September - November (!) Another 9900 nautical miles added to the total sailed on Swans

The year is 2019 and continues on the Swan 75, with an early January trip to Portofino. After a yard period in February-March, I leave the boat in April and join a Swan 105 for the Atlantic crossing. Immediately after the crossing follows a delivery trip, from the yard in Finland on a Swan 54, which ends with a broken boom in the North Sea. All of July is then a delivery from the yard to Palma on a Swan 78. The autumn is kept busy on shorter delivery trips in the Mediterranean on both the 105 and the 78 10000 nautical miles added to total miles sailed on Swans

The year is 2018 and starts with a new job on a Swan 75 in late spring. Apart from a short stint to help deliver the first Swan 78 from the yard to Oslo, the season was sailing around the Ligurian and Tyrrhenian Seas, with five months based in Porto Rotondo, Sardinia. 3400 nautical miles added to total miles sailed on Swans

The year is 2017 and starts on Swan 82RS-007 - an old acquaintance from the delivery from the yard to Gosport, UK in 2004. First a refit in Algeciras, Spain and then a season in the western Mediterranean, with Port Roig in Ibiza as home port. Last sail of the year is a "VAT-run" to Algeria on a Swan 75 A bit over 5000 nautical miles added to total miles sailed on Swans

The years are 2015-2016. Starting with summer sailing my own S&S Swan 40 in British Columbia, Canada. In November I started a new job on the Luca Brenta designed Custom Swan 76 "Silandra V". In the summer of 2016 we sailed the French Riviera and Italian coast to the Aeolian Islands, where we spent several weeks, before sailing to Greece. The season ended with further cruises along the French riviera

This episode covers the years 2012-2013, and the story continues on Swan 651 "Geronimo". Spending the winter season in the Caribbean, between St Barth and the British Virgin Islands. Instead of a spring Atlantic Crossing, we head north, via Bermuda to Newport and spend three months between Boston and New York, followed by an Atlantic crossing, in August(!), to participate in Swan Cup 2012. The season ends with the inaugural Nord Stream Race, on brand new Swan 60 "Tsaar Peter", in the Baltic Sea - in October! Geronimo spent the winter 2012-2013 on shore in Olbia, Sardinia, and season 2013 started mid July, with cruises along Golfo di Genoa and Amalfi coast, the Aeolian Islands, Sicily and Sardinia. 11,200 nautical miles logged on Swans in 2012-2013.

The story continues on Swan 651 "Geronimo", with the year 2011. Starting with the winter season in the Caribbean, from the Grenadines to British Virgin Islands. After the Atlantic crossing, the summer season was spent mainly between Golf of Naples, Amalfi coast, Sicily and the Baleares, ending with Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez. The next Atlantic crossing was taking part in ARC 2011 and the year ended in the British Virgin Islands. 12,800 nautical miles logged on Swans in 2011.

The story continues on Swan 651 "Geronimo", with the year 2010 - starting in San Blas islands and Panama. After a winter in the Caribbean we sailed to a season in the Mediterranean, including racing in Swan Cup and Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez. In November via the Canary Islands to the Caribbean Adding 15,700 nautical miles of sailing Swans.

The story continues on Swan 651 "Geronimo", with the year 2009 - the year of the Pacific Ocean. Starting in the Caribbean through the Panama canal to Islas Perlas, the Galapagos Islands, Hawaii, Vancouver BC and south along the American west coast back to Panama. Adding 16,200 nautical miles of sailing Swans
