Allow us to introduce ourselves – we are the three musketeers, Jeroen, Aagje and Rajesh van den Heuvel, and we share a passion for sailing. On July 1st, 2022, we embarked on our dream circumnavigation aboard our beloved sailboat, My Motu and started from the British Virgin Islands. This dream had been brewing for nearly two decades, since Jeroen and Aagje’s trip to the Whitsunday Islands in Australia. In 2014, Rajesh, originally from India, became our son. Unfortunately, in 2020, the Netherlands denied our family the opportunity to stay together. Despite this setback, we decided to pursue our dream and set sail on our circumnavigation. Our sailboat, a 1990 Amel Super Maramu named My Motu, captured our hearts and souls, inspired by the journeys of SV Delos. We have outfitted My Motu with upgraded sails, cushions, mattresses and other amenities. Join us on our journey, and let us share our adventure with you.
