We’re a family of four who traded suburban life in Minnesota for the adventure of full-time sailing. Jeff (retired nurse), Laurie (adult learning expert and remote project manager), and our daughters Anastasia (8) and Kaylee (3) now live aboard a 50-foot Royal Cape sailing catamaran. We set sail expecting some cosmetic fixes—but found ourselves knee-deep in a full-scale project boat refit.
