As you know (if you have been following) when I first got to the boat it was flooded after #hurricane Milton. That was due to a busted bilge pump & dead batteries.. so to ensure that it doesn’t happen again I replaced batteries and the bilge pump. So my new 12 volt duel sided fridge came in and let me tell you that it feels good to have a cold drink at the ready. Usually I drink room temp water most of the day and go to the store for at least one cold drink to have for dinner so this is living in luxury. I also bought a 26 inch tv that won’t use up to much power cause as you know I only have the two 100 watt solar panels up right now so my electricity is limited until I get the wind turbine up. (Which is soon I’m just waiting on the post) my dvd collection is coming along nicely as well…. As you know my boat was affected by hurricane Milton but luckily she stayed afloat and didn’t drag anchor. I wasn’t prepared for the flooding but I should have anticipated it. So after getting all of the water out of the boat it was time to put in the solar panals. I was lucky enough to have a friend who knew about these setups & he came down to give me a hand.. (Thank you Nick I appreciate you brother). Though the solar panel and wind turbine kit didn’t come with everything I got enough power to have lights and the fan as well to charge my phone….. after all that was said and done I cleaned up a bit and got ready for bed. I slept fine but had to to listen to the sail flipping away all night but all in all I slept well.. I woke up in time to see the sun rise while I brushed my teeth and then just enjoyed the view .. today will be a day of cleaning and organizing. #sea #viralvideo #adventure #ocean #florida #boatmaintenance #sea #fypage #liveaboard #patreon #sailboat
