I started sailing in 2019 with a 45-foot sailing vessel named Second Wind, a Hanse 458. We sailed together through the Turkish coasts and the Greek Islands and developed a unique and unforgettable mutual relationship with each other. In 2021, I fell in love with the idea of circumnavigation and decided to embark on this journey with a new boat appropriate for shorthanded sailing on the oceans. It was never easy to say goodbye to her in 2023 as the delivery of Seven7 (Amel 50) approached. This channel will contain the videos of our voyages with Seven7 starting from La Rochelle, France, in February 2024. I am a thoracic surgeon and continue practising while running this channel. After 37 years of full-time healthcare service, life has divided itself into two halves now, one of which is on the seas.
