Under våra fortsättningskurser Nivå 2 - motsvarande seglarintyg 2, går vi igenom säkerhet, man-över-bord, tilläggning, manövrering, ankring och trimfunktioner av båt och segel. Den här dagen tränade vi på man-över-bord och tilläggningar. En sak vi poängterar är att när man lägger till så ska man gå så nära klippan/bryggan att man kan gå från båten. Aldrig hoppa, det är då olyckorna sker. Bättre att båten stöter emot klippan och få en flisa i gelcoaten än att hoppa och få en flisa i benet. Ankaret långt ut, nästan lika långt ut som du har ankartamp, dvs 50 meter. Ju längre ut, desto enklare att få fäste med ankaret mot botten. Använd kätting åtminstone en bit för att få tyngd ner mot botten. Förtöj förtampar med vinkel och varken för korta (ryckigt) eller för långa (flexigt) från båten, bergskilar är guld! Kursen ger dig mängder av träning för att du själv ska kunna segla med antingen din båt, eller med hyrd båt, även hyrd båt från oss, vi hjälper dig med allt vad gäller din segling i skärgården!
