A Jugo approaches on our journey down to Dubrovnik, so we bunker down in what we thought was a protected bay. It hits hard along with our batteries failing, generator breaking and rationing food and w
We leave Loviste at first light and continue South in super calm conditions. We could of maybe stretched the day to head straight to Dubrovnik, but a weather warning comes through and we decide to head into the cove at Polace, in Mljet National Park. The sun is shining and we are happy with our find.
In this weeks episode we spend the night at a beautiful little town called Pu?i??a and then continue our travels South. The swell starts to peak as we come around a headland which led to Shane getting sprayed at the helm and a little fright for the kids.
In this episode we resolve the terrifying noise from our first night on anchor, take the tender for it's first ride and try to deport the boat from Croatia, iwth eyes on Bosnia, but the universe had other plans for us...

Finally, what we have been waiting for comes through! Not before more repair jobs, a delivery with some goodies and a few laughs along the way.
In this episode we find Smile's own quirks and problems and get stuck into the boat jobs while we are still in Marina Frapa. The kids continue to settle in, the weather really brings my mood down and we explore the town more.
While we wait for our Australian Boat Registration, we exploe our marina more and take a road trip to the stunning Plitvice Lakes National Park. Note: Music has a license. I tried something new so I am hoping the sound quality is better for those watching on a TV. Thanks for following along :)

Following on from an OVERWHELMING response on our first episode, this sequel continues where we left off, and shows more insight in what we had to do to start to make this boat a home. We spend our first night on board, visit a flower market in Old Town Split, run into our first repair job and start upgrades. Follow along as we, a family of 4 from Australia move to Croatia onboard a Lagoon 450f Catamaran to follow our dreams and spend more quality time as a family.
Join us on @SailingSmile as we sell everything we own in Australia, to buy a sailboat on the other side of the world. Meet the crew, how we got here and us seeing the boat for the first time, here in Croatia.
