🦜 Dear diary… This time my humans decided to tackle my bathroom… thinking it would be a nice, quick little winter project. HAHA. They clearly still hadn't learnt their lesson. 😂 Out came the old toilet, sink and cupboards, revealing 74 empty 2-litre bottles hidden inside a mysterious hole. Why?! We’re hoping YouTube can help us find the previous owner who built it and finally solve the mystery! Graham then tackled plumbing, drainage, rust, floors, walls and more, while Rachel worked on my jungle-themed bathroom panels. 🦜 Dear diary… welcome back! In this episode, my humans decide it’s finally time to tackle my hull… and honestly, I’ve never looked worse! 😩 What started as “just a bit of sanding” turned into rust, bare metal, barnacles, old paint, epoxy, wire brushes and A LOT of Graham suffering. Watch as they slowly strip me back, uncover my many colourful layers from over the years, repair the rust and finally start getting me ready for a whole new look. At one point Graham even looked like a blue Smurf. I found it hilarious. 😂 And yes… with hindsight, perhaps sandblasting me back to bare metal from the start would have been the quicker option. But hindsight is a wonderful thing, isn't it? Most importantly, we're still trying to uncover my history and find my original owners.
