We leave Bradenton to continue our journey west but weather forces us to divert to Port St Joe.

We are forced to leave Key West with a cold front approaching. One day of great sailing followed by two more in rough seas. Follow our journey as we bring Bad Kitty back from Grenada to our home in Texas to finish her refit.

One day out from Key West our inverter melts down. We will have to continue without AC power.

We bought a boat without a sea trial because it was buried in the back of the yard. Spending two huricane seasons on the hard we did all we could to recondition the boat for the passage. Now its time to head out. Not all the systems tested but if it is going to happen it will happen out there.

We bought a neglected catamaran in Grenada without a sea trial and this will be the first test of the systems. Then we will sail 2800 miles back to Texas to continue the rehab before leaving the dock for good.

We are back in Grenada to continue the rehab of our new catamaran. Dave reworks the Gori props while Patricia gets the cabinet pulls swapped.

We set sail for Fata Hiva in the Marquesas Island chain of French Polynesia. We visit a waterfall and enjoy the remoteness.

We travel to French Polynesia to sail with our friends John and Shannon on Carisma. They left the marina two years ago and just crossed from Panama to the Marqueses. This episode we fly to Tahiti and resupply before flying off to Hiva Oa. After meeting up with John and Shannon we sail to Tahuata.
