Hop aboard as we head to St Augustine for fuel and water. If you see the nav program drift it is due to cell based GPS. That program cannot be connected to AIS and the stream at the same time. Rest assured our main nav program is connected to AIS and is showing our correct location.

Now that the wind has subsided we are heading back to Fort Matanzas to get out of the ocean swell. You may see the nav program drift, that is because it is not connected to AIS, it is a secondary program and it cannot be connected to both AIS and OBS. Rest assured my main nav program, that I'll be using for navigation, is connected to AIS.

We are going to try and move closer to the actual Matanzas Inlet to find shelter from the strong winds arriving overnight into tomorrow and Sunday. The area is notorious for shoaling so we may be unsuccessful. What is life without a little adventure?
