Despite the lack of wind, and an abandoned race, it was a lovely night out on the water for our first Wednesday Twilight of the 2017-2018 season. Thanks to Communications Sub-Committee member Brad Collis for putting this footage together, and to General Committee member Peter Roberts for taking him around.
On Sunday 24 September many of our members attended our annual working bee, to get the clubhouse, yard area and marina in ship shape for opening and the summer sailing season. Thank you to all those who attended and volunteered their time. We greatly appreciate your help and dedication in taking care of our club. Thank you to Communications Sub-committee member Brad Collis for producing this footage from the day.
James "Jim" Johnston was formerly the oldest member of RYCV until his recent passing on 12 February 2017. In this video Jim shares some of his memories from sailing. Thank you to member Brad Collis for the production of this clip.
Cath Beaufort has been an active sailor at the Royal Yacht Club of Victoria since she before she became a member in 1995 and is a strong advocate for encouraging more women to get involved in sailing.
