Mokuhooniki is off of the northeast side of Molokai. The video is a compilation of 5 dives over two days (12/9/10 & 12/13/10). With an abnormal wind pattern, the first day we spent our time exploring around the island. The second day we had intentions just looking for the hammerheads. Well unfortunately, we didn't find the hammerheads, but we did see a couple of large Galapagos sharks as well as tons of great fish & beautiful topography. Main dive sites include: Fish Rain, Pinnacle, The Canyon

Scuba Diving the LCU & Land of Oz on 3/28/10 off of Waianae on the west side of Oahu
First dive was very cool. We found a pair of Bandit Angels in ~80-90fsw. This is super shallow for this fish on Oahu. Second dive was a Spitting Caves. Nice colony of leather coral in the beginning and we stuck our head in a puca (hawaiian for hole) and found a couple of little frog fish. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday morning with a couple of drifts.
This was an incredible dive. Got back to the Ulua Cave. Last weeks video did not do this site justice. The first time I dove this site I only managed to see as small portion of the resident Ulua school. This time I managed to intersect with them and got some great shots. On top of that, some good shots of the huge population of Hawaiian Longfin Anthias. Hope to dive this site some more as I know there has to be much more to find here.
Diving the Deep Ulua Cave off of Kaena Point, Oahu on 3/3/10.
Drift Scuba Diving off of Hawaii Kai, Oahu on 2/25/10 at Keanu's Reef & Fish Curtain (between Spitting Caves & Sea Cave). Notice the Spotted Burrfish in the last frame. This fish is seldom seen in the main Hawaiian Islands. Reported to be seen with somewhat regularity in the Northwest Hawaiian islands. Looks are very similar to porcupine fish but spines are always erect.
Scuba diving Moku Manu off of Windward Oahu on 2/16/10
Scuba Diving off of Hawaii Kai, Oahu on 12/11/09. Dive sites Spitting Caves & Sea Cave. Both are done as drift dives. Was a couple of great dives and found some really cool stuff. The down side was, did not see the manta ray! What a bummer, oh well. Better than a day at work!
Scuba diving Bamboo Ridge and Palea Point off of Hawaii Kai, Oahu.
Scuba Diving on Split Rock (Corsair Ledge) and Sea Cave on 12/2/09. Was an amazing couple of dives! The animal encounter at the end of the clip was one of the best that I have had. We got to the back of the Sea Cave & was empty. After several minutes in the back, they came up to us. I have not seen them this interested in us before. No diver approached the animals, as you can see they were vey curious about us. Usually they are solitary animals, was special to see two of them interact with each other in a nonconfrontational way.
