We did a quick dingy trip across the harbour yesterday for an impressive dive. The dingy was brilliant with about double the floor space of a RIB, it made having gear aboard a breeze. We also found it much easier to get in an out of than a RIB. The Airbuddy was also fantastic. So good for this type of diving. Easy and light with more than enough dive time. Now I just need to plug it in to charge the battery up again. Love it.
This was our first passage in our new boat, a HH52 Aft Helm (the first of the aft helm HH52's). We had a great passage full of fishing boats, calms, rough, laughs, smiles, frustrations and more. It's a learning curve and we're at the steep part. Overall a great passage in a great boat. We also got to do our fist test in our new Flow Tender, currently these are getting some serious real world testing before production commences.
This is the 5th visit to HH Catamarans to see progress on our HH52 being built. We're now only about 6 weeks away from completion. Finishes and details are looking good. Our first 2 pre production tenders are ready as well. I'm really hoping this will be the ultimate world cruising catamaran for a couple. I guess time will tell.
This was my forth visit to HH Catamarans to check on the build of our HH52. This is very boat nerd detailed……. Our boat will be the first of the aft helm 52's. Lots of small details to work on after my experience at sea on HH52 hull number 2. I also visited the factory we're working with to build our new carbon fibre tenders, which is looking really amazing.
I has the fantastic opportunity to help the owners of HH52 number 2 sail their boat from Kota Kinabalu to Singapore, a 1000 nautical mile trip against the wind and currents. It was a fantastic opportunity to experience a HH52 at sea.
I arrived just after Gone with the Wynns had posted their last video with their stray current issues, hence I've managed to include some detail about that. I've also shown not only our boat by also hull number 1 of the HH52's, just to get an idea of the finishes etc that we can expect. As part of this trip I also spent time in Thailand working on our new lightweight carbon tender, which is going to be a next level tender - exciting. We plan to be in production with these early 2025. This shows the prototype tender. We just had 3 weeks sailing aboard Greedy Guts, our friends new Neel 43 trimaran. We sailed from Porto in Portugal down the coast to Mazagon in Spain. Great fun trip!
This was my second visit to the factory and Deb’s first. It was a super worthwhile trip for us to work through details and understand more. Once again we were extremely well looked after by the team at HH Catamarans!
Super fun day out sledding in Revelstoke. Dave suggested I take the most powerful snow mobile for my first day ever. It was totally nuts riding an 850cc Turbo sled with 180hp in a 200kg machine. Super fun, slightly terrifying. Big thanks to Dave for the totally wild experience.
What a magic day yesterday after a week of non-stop riding powder, this was a day of carving groomers with Riley.
Super tough conditions for the 2023 freestyle at the Windsurfer Worlds in Perth. Wind ranging from about 10 knots to 25 knots in the gusts! This is a handful of the tricks mashed together.
I’ve just flown over to Xiamen, China to see our boat which is in construction. Lots of decisions to be made and a huge amount learned. The factory is huge! 40,000m2 inside the buildings and 25 boats under construction - wow.
This was a closed road hill climb (we did high speed up and down six times).
4 days of riding, laughs and good times with old mates. We rode Cascades from Lake Mountain to Marysville on day 1, Lysterfield Park on day 2, You Yangs on day 3 and the back of Daylesford / Hepburn Springs on Day 4. What a great adventure.
This is my third visit to Bathurst on the Lotus Only Track Day. It's a super fun day on one of the most epic tracks in the world. This is a full session (I did 5 sessions for the day).
This was my best lap at Bathurst this year while doing the Lotus Only Track Day for the 3rd time. Getting quicker, but plenty more still to learn!

This was one full session in my Lotus Exige 430 Cup FE at Phillip Island, lap 5 was my quickest with a 1.46.16 or if I look at the data, then a rolling lap of 1.45.84. Getting quicker!
This lap was 1.20.24 which was my best for the day.
This was one of the 15 minute sessions during the Charity Drive Day event in September 2022, driving my Lotus Exige 430 Cup at Phillip Island circuit. Quite a few 1.46 laps that day, but I just couldn't crack 1.45......
