Norway Yacht Charter As. Is the largest operator and owner of fjord cruises, sightseeing boats and ferries on the Oslo fjord. The fleet consists mainly of old sailboats measuring between 20 and 35m, exclusive entertainment ships and sightseeing boats. The charter boats are used by companies for entertainment and corporate meetings, by Norwegian and foreign travel agencies, and for social gatherings in connection with conventions and conferences in Oslo. Full entertainment for groups of between 8 and 200 guests is provided on all vessels. Through shared services we accommodate up to 600 guests. In addition, the company operates a sightseeing business for tourists with 3 boats. Båtservice Sightseeing AS was started in 1946, and quickly launched regular sightseeing tours for tourists. In 1950, the company took over the ferry to Bygdøy, and during the 1950s today's 4 cream-coloured boats were specially designed/purpose-built and put into operation from Oslo City Hall.
