Finally had the opportunity to stay a night on the lake. I was lucky to have Travis tag a long for a little of the journey to grab some footage while out there. Big thanks to Cally for helping me get Spirit rigged and in the water. The wind was low but that just made for a beautiful day! Enjoy the sights and sounds! The best way to wake up

Work/life balance can be tough. Fortunately I was able to combine the two by bringing my boat into our studio space to work on it during downtime in the office! How great is that! This allowed me the time to tackle some projects like patching holes in the deck and installing some new components to the boat. All while keeping her dry and out of the elements.

A trip we took back in 2021 to the Everglades.

This is my first attempt with using a rivet gun. Not exactly perfect on these spreaders so hopefully it holds well. I may need to just drill them out and try again.

Finally time to get the cabin in order! This was several days of prep and painting all wrapped into a short video. I used a white primer that also kills mold and mildew. I am not sure if this stuff will hold for long. So I may be painting it all again with something like else. But for now it works and feels a lot better! Enjoy the sounds.

We had a blast! Winds 13-15 mph on Lake Sante Fe. I found tons of things I need to adjust and fix on the boat but she did very well! Still searching for the name.

A shortened version of my adventure trying to get the motor to run. I purchased the motor from the same person I bought the sailboat from. My only issue was not having a proper fuel connector for the motor.

I am using a 50% Hydrogen Peroxide and 50% White Vinegar mix. Scrubbing it down and then sanding it out.

Excited for this next chapter in sailing. I have plenty of boat projects ahead but hopefully I will get back out on the water soon. For now just a simple introduction to my "new to me" sailboat!

It is easy to lose your sense of direction. Use extreme caution when approaching any unknown underwater areas.
