Hello! In this video, we start off in Soufriere in the south of Dominica for some freediving training on the platform down there. We hike the first segment of the Waitukubili trail and then say goodbye as we sail down to Martinique. In Martinique, we visit parts of the island we haven't seen yet, enjoy some of the hussle and bussle that the island has to offer (compared to sleepy Dominica) and we head up North for a few days to explore the jungle up there. We visit the impressive JM Rhum distillery and come back to Navika where we do more freediving with our friends. We're in Guadeloupe in this video and we decide to do our AIDA 2 freediving course to learn all the fundamentals of freediving and feel more confident diving on our own. Hello! This week we sail from Antigua to Guadeloupe, which is one of the French Caribbean islands. Aloha, welcome back! In this video, we set sail from Antigua and make our way North to its sister island Barbuda. We're so surprised when we get there to find it's basically just one big beach! But we have it all to ourselves and swim ashore for an explore. We then have a squally sail down towards Cocoa bay, which is less remote but still beautiful. We check out the local bar there, Shack-a-kai and become regulars whilst we're there. We go back for the freshest lobster we've ever had and then sail on towards Spanish Point - another idyllic and completely secluded bay just off the Atlantic coast. Hello! In this video we sail from Guadeloupe up to Antigua - first stop: Jolly Harbour. We then make our way across to Falmouth Harbour and after a sketchy ride towing the dinghy we go to the famous BBQ evening at Shirley Heights on a Sunday. We set sail for Green Island but after struggling our way upwind we change our plans and head back West to find the most pristine anchorage. We set up camp, have a beach day and make a fire that evening to cook our food on. This was probably one of our favourite nights on anchor in the Caribbean so far! Thanks for watching! Hello! Welcome back to our channel. In this video, we go on a few dive/snorkel explorations along the reefs in Martinique and we find this amazing tunnel and open top cave with our friends. We then sail to the northern part of the island, and anchor just off Saint Pierre, an impressive and historic town at the foot of a volcano. We go for a long hike along the northern part of the island which is still uninhabited and completely remote, and we then sail up to Les Saintes, which is part of Guadeloupe. We have a friend come to stay and do lots of snorkelling and free diving along the coast of Guadeloupe. We end in the picturesque town of Deshaies, which will be our last stop before Antigua! Hello! In this video, we're in Cape Verde in Mindelo and are taking a ferry across to the island of Santo Antão which is very close but you can't really go with the boat as there's nowhere to anchor. We have family visiting, so we stay there for a few days and go and explore this island that is a real hidden gem! We do lots of hikes (if you would like more info on any of the hikes/places let us know in the comments), and are surrounded by greenery, fruit trees and sugarcanes! In this video, we have a quick tour of La Gomera, meal prep and get ready for our passage to Cape Verde. We had 750nm to sail - and the wind was going to be quite strong. Worst nightmare hits when we lose our autopilot - we quickly realise how tough the passage could be if we were to hand steer the whole time. An intense passage - with strong sea state and wind. Hello! In this video, we continue discovering Tenerife. Mountains, rainforest, scuba diving, wildlife, surfing, culture, history? This island seems to have it all. We only really scratched the surface of everything you can do here but we fell in love with the island and enjoyed discovering new gems whilst we were there. In this video, we start off in Las Palmas in Gran Canaria and get on with some boat jobs - including rigging a kicking strap after our vang breaks again, running a third reef in the main sail and redoing our entire bed and mattress set up due to having found mold under our mattress. We then go on a hike around the Caldera de Bandama, outside Las Palmas - which is a volcano crater. Then we visit the old town of the city and have an overnight sail to Tenerife. We rent a car and go inland, wine tasting, and go all the way up to el Teide. It's a beautiful evening with the sun setting over la Gomera :D Thanks for watching!
